The 5 Factor Fitness Plan is a fitness plan developed for celebrities by celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak.

The 5 Factor Fitness Plan is an exercise plan developed by the creator of the 5 Factor Diet and celebrity personal trainer, Harley Pasternak. Pasternak created the 5 Factor Plan for his celebrity clients, like Angelina Jolie, Orlando Bloom and Eva Mendes. 5 Factor Fitness is similar to the Body for Life Plan, in that it combines high intensity exercise with strength training.

The 5 Factor Fitness Plan is a five day a week, 25 minutes a day, exercise plan. The exercise plan uses a combination of high intensity, fat burning cardiovascular workouts and weight training. There are only a few exercises to follow with this workout routine.

5 Phases of The 5 Factor Fitness Plan

  1. Warm up with five minutes of cardiovascular exercises.
  2. Five minutes of strength training for the upper body
  3. Five minutes of strength training for the lower body
  4. Five minutes of core (abdominal) exercises
  5. Five minutes of fat-burning exercises

Sample 5 Factor Workout Plan

The 5 Factor exercise plan is easy to follow. The only fitness equipment that is required is dumbbells and a bench. The plan uses supersets, moving from one type of exercise to another, without taking a break. The workout starts with five minutes of cardio warm-up exercises, like walking or stair climbing. After warming up, the upper and lower body exercises are performed. Upper body exercises include bicep curls and lateral raises using a dumbbell. Lower body exercises, like squats, should then be performed. After completing each set of the upper and lower body exercises, there is a 90 second resting period. Core exercises, like crunches and side bends, are performed separately. Another five minutes of fat burning cardio finishes up the workout.

The 5 Factor Fitness Plan should be combined with the 5 Factor Diet for best results. The diet is a simple and easy to follow plan that includes five meals a day, using only 5 ingredients, including lean protein, healthy fats and carbs. There is no calorie counting and no supplements are needed. One day per week is designated a cheat day.

The 5 Factor Fitness Plan is an ideal plan for those who want an easy to follow home fitness work-out routine. With the short amount of time it takes to exercise, people who have trouble finding time to workout may find that this is the right weight loss plan for them.
