Holiday parties are the perfect motivation to lose 15 pounds fast, but losing weight for the holiday pictures, family gatherings, and company parties can feel overwhelming. Old weight loss techniques that worked in the past may not be working. Here are some tips to help lose 15 pounds fast.

Weight Loss Journals

Think about how you spend your free time. Write down an account of drinks, meals, and activities. After a few days, review your routine. Read the product information labels on drinks and all prepackaged foods that were consumed. Many of the choices may have excess calories that should be cut for fast weight loss.

Make a commitment to write down everything consumed. This includes mints, gum, candy, and alcoholic beverages. The sugar within these items can unknowingly ruin the diet plan. Check the package label to confirm how many grams of sugar are in each serving. Read over the weight loss journal to stay motivated.

Weight Loss Exercise

Find small pockets of time that you can exercise. Use this time to walk in place, do light weights, or do body sculpting exercises like Pilates. Use a tape measure to chart your progress. Building muscle will naturally help the body to burn more calories each and every day. Continue visualizing a toned body. Use specific weight loss exercises to boost weight loss results. Visit a local gym for a high calorie burn class, or try alternating challenging work out DVDs. Continue daily walking out doors on walking in place to burn additional calories.

Low Calorie Diet

Drink water, herbal teas, and raw fruit and vegetable juices. Try to avoid sodas, alcohol, and drinks high in caffeine. Pay attention to what you are eating. Consume two or more pieces of raw foods with each meal. This could be a piece of whole fruit, prepared raw salad, or raw soup. The enzymes in the raw foods will help the body quickly lose 15 pounds. Select lean meats, fish, and high fiber vegetables to feel full. Prepare high fiber vegetable soups to use as in between meal snacks. Drink water throughout the day to avoid constipation and promote regularity.

Use these tips to help lose a complete dress or pant size for the holidays. Increase the intake of raw foods closer to the date of planned holiday events. Eat only fruit until noon. Have a large green smoothie in place of snacks. Use these tips to lose 15 pounds before the Holidays arrive.
