If you live in an area where snow is your best friend, you may want to invest in a home treadmill for the next several months. What is the Best Way to Lose Inches?Many people often start a new regime to better suit their lifestyles, but this is nearly impossible to do. There is always something that gets in the way right when you want to go take your walk. One example, is when the phone rings at precisely your walking time. You would rather venture out and exercise than stay indoors on the phone! Sometimes, people get trapped inside and the treadmill comes to the rescue when boredom strikes. The best way to lose inches while walking is to boost your walking speed and increase the height you walk on. If you live where there is a hill you need to add the hill to your regular walking schedule at least twice a week. This allows your body to get some much needed cardio exercise. The incline should be moderate - you can work up to a steeper hill in the future. If you use the steepest part of the hill every time, your body will not lose as much weight as you might think. Walking up hill allows you to raise your heart rate. When you raise the levels of your heart rate you are increasing the speed at which the blood flows through your veins. When you do cardio, you will see that you feel very good the next day. Why is It Important to be Conscious of Your Weight?Everything should be taken with a grain of salt and everything should be taken in moderation. This simply means you should watch your weight regularly as a rapid increase in weight could mean there is something else wrong if you have not been over-indulging. Extra weight puts pressure on internal organs as well as your feet and ankles. Sometimes this extra weight can be harmful to your heart. When you gain too much weight you will begin to see stress fractures in the arch of your foot, or even along the outside of the ankle and heel. It is not good to have pain or fractures in your feet. When this does happen, it makes getting the extra weight off your body a lot harder. This is why it's important to walk and do exercise to eliminate the extra weight you have put on.
